READY, SET, EXPLORE
Tuesday’s 1pm - 2pm when CBRSD is in session.
Ages 2+This playgroup will reach children within the earliest years when their brains are most malleable. Research shows that during this critical window of opportunity, consistent repetition of high-quality learning experiences can strengthen optimum brain development in young children. Children are able to learn the positive ways of managing and dealing with emotions from the guidance of responsive, attuned caregivers. This provides them with the critical knowledge, understanding, and skills to carry with them throughout their lives.
-
STORY HOUR

All agesAt story hour we read 1-2 books. We will make a craft that aligns with one book that was read. You have the opportunity to borrow books from the library. This is a wonderful way to introduce your child to the library.

About CFCE and Wendy Provencher
The Central Berkshire Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant believes that the parent is the child’s first teacher. CFCE’s job i to support families and to give them the tools that they may need to feel and be successful in this very important endeavor.
Wendy Provencher is the Central Berkshire CFCE coordinator and is here to help our local parents and caregivers in anyway she can. Wendy is so happy she gets to spend time with such great kids from our community. Thanks to everyone who makes an effort to check out our many programs. We love sharing these resources with kid and adults alike!
